When will I receive my order?
We want your brü arriving in a safe and timely manner, ready to enjoy immediately. So, to prevent your order from sitting in a warehouse all weekend long, leaving it subject to possible delays or mistreatment, we ship all orders on Monday and Tuesday.
Estimated Arrival Time for Canada: 3-7 days via Canada Post.
How will I receive my order?
After meticulously wrapping your elixir(s) in protective bubble wrap, we carefully layer additional cushioning material inside the box to fill up any empty space.
Are these mushroom elixirs going to make me high?
Nope! While our functional mushrooms are magical in their own right, they do NOT contain psilocybin—the active compound in “magic mushrooms” which causes you to hallucinate or feel “high.”
Solbrü’s mushrooms are 100% legal, and will not result in a drug trip.
What’s the difference between psychedelic and functional mushrooms?
Psychedelic mushrooms—AKA “magic mushrooms”—contain the psychoactive component psilocybin. These mushrooms can induce hallucinations, visions, or feelings of warmth and euphoria in consumers.
Functional mushrooms—like reishi, cordyceps, lion’s mane, and turkey tail—provide your body with essential nutrients, as well as supporting stress adaptation.
These mushrooms also strengthen and boost your immune system, enhance cognitive and mental health, digestive health, heart health, liver health, vitality, and physical performance.
Functional mushrooms are regarded by many ancient traditions and cultures as beneficial fungi (going back thousands of years!).
What’s the base of Solbrü Elixirs?
Our elixirs’ base consists of apple cider vinegar and water, giving you an additional boost of antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.
What type of Mushrooms do we use?
We use dual- extracted mushroom powder. Hot water and alcohol extract the valuable compounds inside the mushrooms, and the alcohol is steamed off, leaving a healthy mushroom powder extract.
What’s the shelf life of a bottle of Sol Brü?
Unopened, our elixirs last up to eight months. After breaking the seal and enjoying your first sip, you can store any of our brews in the fridge for up to two months.
What’s the recommended dose?
One ounce per day is all you need to enjoy the health benefits of our elixirs. If you're enjoying a few AF cocktails, you don't need to worry about "overdoing it", even if you have four, five, six shots. That being said, we wouldn’t suggest consuming the whole bottle in two hours. Overconsumption (of anything) is never wise.
Which elixir is best for me?
Alas, only you can answer this question, but I will do my best to guide you. The best elixir for you depends on what benefits you’re after and what flavour profile delights your taste buds:
→ Do you enjoy a rich, full-bodied flavour with a hint of smokiness? Try our Restore Brü with hints of ginger, orange, and apricot. Restore can flood your body with stress-relieving antioxidants, supporting your liver’s optimal function.
→ Is a crisp, light, and refreshing flavour what you had in mind? Try our Elevate Brü with bright, floral notes of zesty lemon, fresh peppermint, and enticing rosemary. Elevate can balance your blood sugar, boost physical performance, and help fight fatigue.
→ Do you enjoy a more festive flavour? Try our Inspire Brü with sweet apple notes, layered with calming lavender and warming-you-from-the-inside-out cloves. Inspire can grant you better focus, enhanced creativity, and peak mental performance.
In which order should I drink these elixirs?
While there’s nothing wrong with choosing the elixir that excites you the most, if you want to experience the full range of benefits that Solbrü offers, we suggest going from the root of your spine to the crown of your head:
- Restore aligns with your root chakra. Can you discuss what the root chakra is all about? Same with the others. Don’t want to say you will feel a rush
- Elevate aligns with your solar plexus chakra.
- Inspire aligns with your crown chakra.
How should I drink my Brü?
Consume our Brü like you would a traditional spirit. Tip it back like a shot, enjoy a glass on the rocks, or revel in the flavours of a slow-drinking AF cocktail.
What ARE Lion’s Mane? Reishi? Cordyceps? Turkey tail? And what are the different health benefits of each type of mushroom?
These are all different mushrooms, but they are NOT the white button mushrooms you might buy at your local grocery store. Instead, these mushrooms are found growing in dense forests, under fallen logs, and even high on the Himalayan plateau.
Functional mushrooms—like lion’s mane, reishi, cordyceps, and turkey tail—are known to be packed with life-giving antioxidants and nutrients. Their rise in popularity is thanks to the intensive research performed over the last few years and the increased demand for natural health alternatives.
Even though ALL of these mushrooms are known to help strengthen your immune system, here’s a quick list of some more specific benefits:
Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) - Often referred to as the “smart mushroom,” lion’s mane supports cognitive and neurological health.
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) - Known as the “mushroom of immortality,” reishi is a potent adaptogen, which means it helps your body adapt to and manage stress. Reishi has also been shown to support proper liver function, endocrine function and restore hormonal balance.
Cordyceps (Cordyceps militaris) - Research shows that cordyceps can balance your blood sugar, boost physical performance, and fight fatigue by improving oxygen availability in the blood.
You can find more excellent research about our mushrooms on PubMed, completely free of charge. Simply visit https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed and type in the Latin name of the mushroom you’re interested in and the benefit you’re looking for.
(For example, if you’re interested in lion’s mane and brain health, simply type in “Hericium erinaceus brain health,” and a list of all the research should pop up.)
Do your elixirs have a strong mushroom-y taste?
No, our elixirs do NOT taste like mushrooms. We formulated our products to provide you with as much ‘shroomy goodness as possible without the umami mushroom flavour.
What does “Plant Remedy” mean?
Plant remedy refers to herbal medicine, or herbalism. This is the study and use of medicinal plants (in Solbrü's case, we’re talking about functional mushrooms).
Plants have been the basis for human healing for thousands of years, and these traditions are still widely practiced around the world. Today, modern scientific research continues to reinforce the holistic benefits of traditional plant medicine.
